Round setup
Start doubles descend (12→0)
Round 1 starts on 12|12, then 11|11, etc.
Draw until required start double found
If nobody has the round’s double, draw from boneyard until it appears.
Fallback to highest double if missing
Safety fallback if the required double can’t be found (should be rare).
Turn flow
Auto-end turn after one play
Standard: play one tile, then turn advances (unless a double is pending).
Allow multiple plays after satisfying a double
Variant: if you satisfy a double, you may continue playing in the same turn.
Doubles
Double must be satisfied before anything else
Standard: everyone must try to satisfy the pending double.
End round if a double can’t be satisfied (boneyard empty)
Prevents infinite looping when nobody can match the pending double.
Trains
Mexican Train always open
Standard: anyone can always play on the Mexican Train.
Open your train when you can’t play
Standard: if you can’t play (after drawing), your marker goes up.
